About Us:

Foundation For Girls is a youth-led social venture that endeavors to change the life trajectory for at-risk girls and youth. We provide hands-on programming to boost self-confidence and build skills in Financial Wellness, Leadership, Digital Literacy, and Health and Well-Being and help participants be confidence, courageous, and ready to transition from dependence to independence. 

We partner with established community organizations to reach the girls and youth where they are: in shelters, safe homes, rescue and rehab facilities, after-school center, community centers, and crisis centers. We currently work with homeless, trafficking survivors, refugees, domestic violence victims, foster care victims, and teen moms.

Through the collective effort of our coaches, volunteers, community and corporate partners, and supporters we are truly changing the outcome for at-risk girls and youth in Charlotte. Our goal is to reach 2,600 youth by 2020 and enable economic opportunity placement for 1400. By the end of March 2018, we reached over 1,408 girls and youth since our inception in December 2014 while conducting 194 workshops and logging over 7,500 total hours of engagement.
